Agreement to Our Legal Terms
We are WeatherRoast (“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). WeatherRoast operates the WeatherRoast mobile application (the “App”) and related services that reference these Terms (collectively, the “Services”).
By downloading, accessing, or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
Age: The Services are intended for audiences in line with the app’s age rating shown on your app store, due to humour and mild profanity.
Updates: Changes will be indicated by the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, by an in-app notice where practicable.

Our Services
WeatherRoast provides humorous, voice-enabled weather forecasts. Forecast information is provided for general information and entertainment and may be inaccurate, delayed, incomplete, or unavailable. Always rely on official sources for safety-critical decisions.
WeatherRoast is not a meteorological authority and does not provide official weather warnings or safety advice.
Access from other jurisdictions is at your initiative; you are responsible for compliance with local laws.
Language Content
The Services may include mild profanity depending on your settings and content. You acknowledge that language may be offensive to some users and you agree to use the Services only if you are comfortable with this content.
Intellectual Property Rights
We (or our licensors) own all intellectual property rights in the Services, including software, text, audio, graphics, images, and marks. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, revocable licence to use the App for non-commercial purposes.
You may not copy, distribute, reverse-engineer, or exploit the Services except as permitted by law.
User Representations
By using the Services, you represent that you have legal capacity, will use the Services only for lawful purposes, will not use automated tools (bots/scripts) to access them, and will comply with all applicable laws.
Purchases and Payment
Payments are processed through Google Play billing. Prices may vary by region and may include applicable taxes. We may correct pricing errors or decline transactions suspected of fraud or abuse.
Subscriptions
If you upgrade to a subscription, billing, renewal, cancellation, and refunds are handled by Google Play. WeatherRoast does not collect or store your payment card details.
You may cancel in your Google Play account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid term.
Refunds Policy
Refunds are handled through Google Play, subject to Google’s policies and applicable law. For technical issues, contact hello@weatherroast.app.
Software Licence
You may install and use the App on devices you own or control. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the App except where permitted by law. The App is provided “as is.”
Prohibited Activities
You agree not to misuse or disrupt the Services; attempt unauthorised access; upload malware or spam; scrape or republish content; impersonate others; harass or abuse; or otherwise use the Services in violation of law or these Terms.
Advertisements
The free tier may display advertisements (currently banner ads, and potentially other formats in future updates). Ads are delivered by third-party partners (for example, Google AdMob). We do not control advertiser content and are not responsible for advertisers’ products or services.
Affiliate Links
The Services may include affiliate links (for example, to Amazon and/or other affiliate partners shown in-app). If you click an affiliate link, the third party may use cookies or similar technologies to attribute a referral. You do not pay extra, but we may earn a commission.
Third-Party Websites and Content
The Services may link to third-party sites or display third-party content. We do not control or endorse, and are not responsible for, third-party sites or content. Your use of third-party sites is at your own risk and subject to their terms and policies.
Privacy Policy
Please review our Privacy Policy (available in-app and on our website). By using the Services, you agree to it.
Term and Termination
These Terms remain in effect while you use the Services. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or other lawful reasons. You may stop using the Services at any time by uninstalling the App or cancelling your subscription. Sections that by nature should survive termination remain in effect.
Modifications and Interruptions
We may change, modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time. We do not guarantee availability or uninterrupted access and are not liable for downtime.
Service Closure: If WeatherRoast is discontinued or removed from an app store, access may end immediately or at the end of your current billing period. No further renewals will be charged. Refunds (if any) follow Google Play policies and applicable law.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are an EU consumer, you also benefit from any mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence.
Dispute Resolution
Informal resolution: the parties will try in good faith to resolve disputes for 30 days after written notice.
Arbitration (optional): disputes may be submitted to arbitration in England and Wales under the Arbitration Act 1996 if both parties agree. This does not prevent injunctive relief or intellectual property protection in court.
Corrections
Information in the Services may contain errors or omissions. We may correct or update information at any time.
Disclaimer
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS-IS” AND “AS-AVAILABLE” BASIS. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. YOU USE THE SERVICES AT YOUR OWN RISK.
Limitations of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WEATHERROAST WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE SIX (6) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, EXCEPT WHERE NOT PERMITTED BY LAW.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability where such limitation or exclusion is not permitted by applicable law.
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless WeatherRoast and its officers, employees, partners, and agents from claims arising out of your use of the Services, breach of these Terms, violation of law, or violation of third-party rights.
Electronic Communications
You consent to receive communications electronically and agree that electronic agreements and notices satisfy legal requirements.

Miscellaneous
These Terms and referenced policies constitute the entire agreement. If any provision is invalid, the remainder remains enforceable. Headings are for convenience only.

Third-Party Weather Data
Weather forecasts and related data displayed in the Services may be obtained from third-party data providers. WeatherRoast does not control these providers and does not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, availability, or timeliness of weather data supplied by them.
We are not responsible for errors, delays, outages, or inaccuracies originating from third-party weather services.
Humour and Entertainment
WeatherRoast provides weather forecasts with a comedic or satirical tone. The humour used within the Services is intended for entertainment purposes and should not be interpreted as personal commentary, professional advice, or factual statements beyond general weather information.
Recording and Redistribution
The audio, voice content, text, and other materials available through the Services are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not record, reproduce, distribute, publicly share, or republish content from the Services for commercial purposes without prior written permission from WeatherRoast.
Personal, non-commercial sharing (such as casual social media mentions) is permitted provided that the content is not modified in a misleading way and appropriate credit to WeatherRoast is maintained.
Offensive or Mature Language
The Services may include humour, satire, and occasional mild profanity depending on user settings and content style. By using the Services, you acknowledge that such language may be present and agree that WeatherRoast is not responsible for any offence taken from the tone or wording of the content.
If you find this type of content inappropriate, you should discontinue use of the Services.
Service Capacity and Availability
WeatherRoast does not guarantee that the Services will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free. Access to the Services may be limited, delayed, or temporarily unavailable due to high demand, server capacity limits, maintenance, technical issues, or events outside our control.
We reserve the right to restrict or suspend access to the Services where reasonably necessary to maintain system stability, security, or performance.
